Building the future with AI: Elith's mission
I am Koki Inoue, CEO of Elith Inc. I researched materials discovery for quantum computers at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where I earned my master's degree. Alongside running the company, I am also a doctoral student at the Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine, researching medical AI. I would like to talk about why I started a business in the field of AI and came to run Elith, how I approach my work, my thoughts on the future of AI and Japan, and my feelings toward the colleagues who take on these challenges with me.

Many of Elith's employees are junior in age, but I treat each of them as a professional and place great importance on exchanging views as equals. I am sometimes strict in how I guide them, but that is precisely because I take each employee's growth seriously. Elith is a company that researches cutting-edge AI technology and creates new value by putting it to work in the real world. Rather than simply being an AI development company, we play the role of a partner who solves challenges together with clients and grows their business. We place great importance on continuing to expand the possibilities of technology by turning the two wheels of research and implementation together. Building one's own career requires learning and challenge. I believe that creating an environment where employees can take on challenges to the fullest is my role as a manager. I want to keep taking on challenges and enjoying the process together with people who share that same aspiration. Let's create the future together.
