This technical book lets you systematically learn everything from the basic mechanisms to the implementation of "GPT," the large language model (LLM) used by ChatGPT, by building it from scratch. It covers the fundamentals of the Transformer, building a GPT model, the mechanics of alignment (SFT and DPO), and even the latest reasoning-enhanced models.
At the event, the authors will explain behind-the-scenes stories from writing the book and technical details, as well as the latest developments in LLMs. There will also be a Q&A session with attendees and an author book signing, making for a special occasion.
