To strengthen its business strategy and real-world deployment structure in the AI and advanced technology domain, Elith Inc. is pleased to announce that it has welcomed Ryutaro Okada, who has served in roles including Executive Director of the Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA) and Secretary-General of the AI Robot Association, a general incorporated association, as a management advisor.
Background to the appointment as management advisor
Elith has to date supported clients end-to-end from research and development through to real-world deployment, centered on generative AI and machine learning, across a wide range of fields including manufacturing, finance, healthcare, mobility, and disaster prevention.
In recent years, AI technology has been shifting from the phase of “can it be developed” to the phase of “how can it be made to take root in society and continuously generate value.”
In addition to his experience founding a startup and selling a business, Okada has driven the formation of Japan's AI and advanced-technology ecosystem and the development of talent through numerous efforts to “build spaces” that bridge academia, government, industry, startups, and communities.
With this appointment as management advisor, Elith will further accelerate its efforts in business strategy, alliance building, and real-world deployment.
Profile: Ryutaro Okada
Started a business while a student at Keio University, and has continued to found companies and launch projects even after selling that business. Co-founded ABEJA in 2012.
Has served in roles including Executive Director of the Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA) and Secretary-General of the National Institute of Technology Deep Learning Contest (DCON), as well as Senior Advisor at IVS and committee member of NEDO's Mobility Service Architecture Study Committee. Founded the AI Robot Association, a general incorporated association, in June 2025 and became its Secretary-General.
Through numerous efforts to “build spaces” that bridge academia, government, industry, startups, and communities, he continues to drive the real-world deployment of AI and advanced technology and the development of talent.
