Supporting the development of talent who can not only “use” AI but also understand how it works and evaluate and implement it appropriately
Elith Inc. (head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Koki Inoue; hereinafter “Elith”) announces that, as an accredited program for the “E Certification” administered by the Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA), it will launch the corporate AI talent development course “E Certification Prep Course Designed Backward from Real AI Development Work” from September 2026.
This is the first course accredited by Elith as a JDLA-accredited program. While systematically learning the deep learning theory and PyTorch implementation needed to take the E Certification exam, participants will aim to acquire the “ability to appropriately evaluate models and outputs” and “the ability to implement and use AI with an understanding of how it works,” both of which are required in real-world AI development.
■ Background
While the use of AI is spreading, companies are facing challenges such as “we want to develop AI talent but don’t know where to start” and “we want to move AI projects forward but lack staff who can properly evaluate the technology.” In particular, adopting and internally building AI capability requires more than staff who can simply use tools — it requires people who understand how AI works and can judge the validity, reliability, and safety of its outputs.
At the same time, educational courses offered by companies actually engaged in cutting-edge AI development are still limited, and in some cases learning stops at certification or career advancement for employees, without leading to the ability to use and develop AI in real-world work.
With this E Certification accreditation, and in order to give back to education the expertise Elith has cultivated in AI development and adoption support and in AI security, members who actually work on AI development were involved in building the course. Elith has a strength in AI security and has grappled directly with AI risk and safety.
