About IVS2026 LAUNCHPAD

As its name suggests, IVS LAUNCHPAD is a pitch event founded with the desire to “become a launchpad that supports the leap forward of early-stage startups not yet known to the world.”

 

First held in 2007, it will mark its 20th year in 2026. Many past participating companies have achieved exits or major fundraising, and IVS LAUNCHPAD, one of Japan's largest pitch events in both history and scale, is also known as “the gateway for the next generation of entrepreneurs.”

 

This year, from more than 500 applications (of which about 20% were from overseas companies), 15 companies, including Elith Inc., advanced to the finals after document screening and multiple rounds of judging. Finalists will give a six-minute presentation in front of judges selected from investors, executives, and entrepreneurs, and will compete for rankings.

Message from the speaker (Representative Director Koki Inoue)

“While the spread of generative AI is accelerating at a tremendous pace, the risk of confidential information leaks caused by unauthorized internal AI use — so-called ‘shadow AI’ — is becoming more serious by the day. We have faced this real corporate threat head-on and developed AI security products that make safe AI use possible.

 

Through this presentation, from the stage of IVS2026 under the theme ‘Japan Is Back,’ we hope to convey to many stakeholders the potential of advanced, Japan-born AI safety technology, and Elith's vision of aiming for a global standard in the field of AI security. On the day, I will take the stage in a samurai costume in keeping with the host city of Kyoto, so I hope you'll cheer us on.”
