■ About MU LABs

MU LABs is a lab-style research and development organization established within Elith Inc. Starting from real, on-the-ground challenges, it aims to expand the possibilities of AI technology through development that emphasizes deep technical exploration and reusability.

MU LABs currently centers its activities on the following three pillars.

  1. Investment in proprietary services centered on products MU LABs goes beyond research and development, building an R&D structure premised on implementation and business application. Centered on our proprietary products, we aim for real-world deployment through the commercialization of research results. In particular, we focus on solving technical challenges in the practical application of AI and pioneering new application areas, aiming to establish a sustainable business model.
  2. Research activities We conduct research aimed at having papers accepted at major international conferences in the fields of machine learning and deep learning, such as ICLR, CVPR, and ICCV. While pursuing the latest AI technology trends, we select research themes with an eye toward practical applicability, aiming to serve as a bridge between academia and industry. We also regularly share our research results internally and externally, contributing to the technical community.
  3. Serving as the technical core of client work MU LABs supports the "0-to-1" launch of engineering efforts in client projects, and is deeply involved in developing critical features that are highly difficult to implement. By fusing the practicality required on the ground with research-and-development-level technology, we deliver actionable, advanced solutions. We are also responsible for modularizing the technical assets produced within each project.

Going forward, with MU LABs at its core, we will reliably connect the real-world deployment of research results with business development, strongly driving sustainable business growth centered on technology.

*About the Research Institution Registration System:

This is a public system in which only corporations and other entities that meet criteria set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and other ministries may register. Registered institutions become eligible for tax incentives and research resource allocations, and registration also serves as proof of a reliable research framework and the capacity to produce results. The number of registrations nationwide, even including universities and individual researchers, is limited to roughly 12,000–15,000, making it a highly credible and rare framework.
