— Jointly developing a system that uses generative AI to improve the efficiency of financial services —

With the rapid evolution of generative AI, the financial industry is seeing growing demand for its use in areas such as analyzing investment portfolios tailored to individual needs and providing consulting services on inheritance and tax planning for wealthy clients. In the United States in particular, the use of generative AI is already advancing in investment portfolio risk analysis, wealth management for high-net-worth individuals, customer information management, and marketing, and this trend is expected to spread to Japan's financial industry as well.

As a startup that grew out of the University of Tokyo's Matsuo Lab, led by Professor Yutaka Matsuo of the University of Tokyo, we possess cutting-edge AI technology. Through this business alliance, we will combine our innovative AI technology with CAP's expertise in financial services to jointly develop a market-leading, innovative system covering the personal asset management field, from asset building to business and asset succession.

As the first project under this business alliance, we plan to develop the following system.

■ Development of a proprietary stock valuation tool using AI compatible with financial statement creation RPA

We will jointly develop a system that applies image recognition to financial statements to value unlisted shares such as proprietary stock held by wealthy individuals and business owners, estimates outstanding inheritance tax liabilities, and automatically visualizes issues related to a client's financial assets and tax matters.

In addition to this project, we also plan to jointly work on developing an avatar AI system for responding to customer questions about defined contribution pensions, among other initiatives. As Japan enters an era of 100-year lifespans and large-scale inheritance, we will combine CAP's financial services expertise with integrated tax management services to contribute to realizing personalized financial services in the form of multi-client family office services — including proposals for asset allocation and individual stock reallocation tailored to each client's investment needs, as well as solutions for business and asset succession.
