Elith Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of "ELITH LOCK: FDE Challenge," a selective internship program for engineering students who work on product development close to client challenges.
This program is not a mere development internship, but a hands-on development program where participants experience the full cycle — from understanding client challenges to requirements definition, implementation, operation, and product improvement.
In addition, for participants recognized for high practical contributions, we offer
a starting salary of 10 million yen for new graduates through the "FDE 10M Offer."
■ What is ELITH LOCK: FDE Challenge?
ELITH LOCK: FDE Challenge is a selective program for students who work on developing and improving Elith's own products while understanding clients' business challenges.
In recent years, with the evolution of generative AI and software development, engineers have been required not only to have implementation skills, but also the ability to understand client challenges and translate them into value.
At Elith, we have defined the role of "FDE (Field Development Engineer)" as the type of talent needed in this era.
An FDE is an engineer who understands clients' business challenges, handles everything from product deployment, customization, and implementation to operation, and feeds the insights gained in that process back into product improvement.
Through this program, we aim to develop practical engineers who understand both business and technology by having students engage in real client projects and product development while still in school.
Participants will also take part in developing and improving Elith's own products, including the AI safety platform "GENFLUX," as well as supporting clients.
Through hands-on work such as feature development, quality evaluation, and deployment support that underpin corporate generative AI adoption, participants can experience both creating client value and driving product growth.
■ What you can experience in this program
Participants can experience practical work such as the following.
- Analyzing client requests and inquiries
- Structuring challenges and prioritizing them
- Distinguishing between client-specific requirements and product improvements
- End-to-end development, including front-end, back-end, and AI features
- Deployment and operational improvement
- Participating in the same projects and review cycles as full-time members
- Participating in client meetings and proposal work (depending on interest and aptitude)
What sets this program apart is that it lets participants gain experience in an environment close to an actual development setting, rather than mere training.
■ Selection process
This program is carried out in the following four stages.
- ELITH LOCK: FDE Challenge Participants tackle a challenge close to real work, and are evaluated not only on technical skill but also on their ability to organize problems and propose solutions._
- Interview Based on the submitted content, we check the candidate's decision-making process and approach to prioritization.
- About one month of hands-on trial Participants join the same projects, tasks, and review cycles as full-time members.
- Fellowship continuation decision We comprehensively evaluate the results and growth achieved during the hands-on trial period.
■ About the FDE 10M Offer
At Elith, we offer the "FDE 10M Offer" to participants who demonstrate high practical contribution.
We present an offer of a 10 million yen starting salary for new graduates to up to the top three candidates who meet the evaluation criteria.

■ Who can apply
The program is primarily aimed at engineering students graduating around 2028.

After joining, participants are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week.
